The upcoming stakes schedule at San Isidro and Palermo was finalized on Tuesday, with a total of four black-type events on the calendar, three of them graded.

The spotlight will shine brightest at San Isidro, where Saturday’s program features a pair of graded stakes: the G2 Paseana over 1800 meters on turf for fillies and mares three and up, and the G3 Porteño at 2400 meters on turf for open company. A strong supporting cast of allowance-level races adds further depth to the card.

The G2 Paseana will mark a much-anticipated clash between Neowise (Agnes Gold), who cuts back in trip from 2200 meters after taking the G2 Juan Shaw, and Obra Clásica (Daddy Long Legs), widely regarded as the top turf miler in training and now testing her stamina.

The field also includes the likes of Elvitas (Cosmic Trigger), Garbiñe (Lucullan), Lacanian Ink (Fragotero), Punta Turquesa (Fortify), and Brazilian raider Urtima Viaje (Eyeofthetiger), adding both depth and international flavor to the race.

The G3 Porteño, a key steppingstone toward the G1 Gran Premio 25 de Mayo, drew a field of 11, led by G1 winner Epityrum (Portal del Alto) and talented 3-year-old Honest Boy (Heliostatic), runner-up in both the G1 Jockey Club and the G1 Martínez de Hoz.

Others entered include Catch the Bell (Catcher In the Rye), Cleopatra KalEl Cid Campeador (Il Campione), El Pulque (Heliostatic), Gadzooks (Galán de Cine), Knows All (Le Blues), Mar de Honor (Treasure Beach), Mister Coquette (Bodemeister) and Out of the Blue (BrzDrosselmeyer).

The action continues Wednesday, April 23, with the Clásico Vale Dori, a 1200-meter dirt sprint for fillies and mares. Truly Princess (Daddy Long Legs) will carry topweight of 59.5 kilos, while a competitive group lines up behind her: Friendly Miss (Japan, 55.5), Bichita de Luz (Fragotero, 56), Gran Celestial (Il Mercato, 55.5), Castell Queen(Daniel Boone, 55.5), Churrullera (Fortify, 58), Victoria Bayern (Santillano, 55), Bayonne (Puerto Escondido, 54.5) and Lakka (Manipulator, 55.5).

Palermo also gets in on the stakes action Monday, April 21, with the G3 Asociación de Propietarios de Caballos de Carrera, run over 1400 meters on turf for fillies and mares. A field of 13 is set to go, highlighted by Causeway Girl(Dabster) and Noche Alta (Hi Happy). They’ll be joined by Coni Fizz (Marconi), Early Life (Suggestive Boy), Es Bellísima (Il Campione), Filippiada (Il Mercato), Guiltless (Full Mast), High Rimout (Remote), Innerbloom (Hi Happy), Lost Beach (Treasure Beach), Same Treasure (Treasure Beach), Vieja Amiga Mask (Mask) and Viva Al Sur(South Kissing).
