LA PLATA - Back to La Plata racetrack, El Ernesto aspires to meet again with victory this Thursday, when he takes part in the Full Sail Special (1400 m, dirt), the second of the races outside the common level that includes today's card and which is open to 4yo and up, with 3 or more victories on their backs.

The son of Señor Candy, who at this same track and distance put on a show in mid-November when he won the Especial Ondine by 8 lengths, will carry 56 kilos. Then they tried to make it big with the bay when he tried his luck in the Gran Premio Joaquín S. de Anchorena (G1), crashing head-on with reality. He let his guard down and, again in San Isidro, tried in the Handicap Condal, but could only close third 3 1/2 lengths behind Dom Mario (Midshipman).

The candidate has as his main enemy the G1W Vespaciano (Daniel Boone, 54), far from those times of glory with the silks of Stud Las Monjitas, but with enough energy to fight in this type of races. He ran very poorly in the Especial Haras El Paraíso, in his last time out, but arrived at that event after a remarkable fifth place finish to Unico Happy (Hi Happy) in the Clásico Joaquín V. González (G2), so it is worth leaving the credit open for a possible recovery.

In races for multiple winners comes close Amigo Intimo (Todo Un Amiguito, 56), who finds an ideal ground to try to leave a good image in the top level, while, in pursuit of surprise, you can rely on Haka Maori (Señor Candy, 52) who will go very light and comes from a positive work in a conditional.
