Argentina’s leading breeding operation will present a total of 78 yearlings to its clients, including several siblings to champions, further raising the bar for this year’s renewal of the Gran Venta Selección

Building on the series of successful sales that have been a staple of Argentine racing, a special moment is set to unfold this Saturday with the Gran Venta Selección 2025 at Haras El Paraíso, a farm that has dominated the statistics for several years and has consistently produced top-class runners.

Scheduled to begin at 12:00 PM, the auction will take place in person at the farm’s facilities, organized by (Arg) Sales. A total of 78 yearlings will be offered, sired by some of the most accomplished stallions in the industry, including Il Campione (Scat Daddy)Le Blues (Roman Ruler)Angiolo (Grand Reward)Cityscape (Selkirk), and Master of Hounds (Kingmambo). Additionally, yearlings from the promising second-generation sires Strategos (Zensational)Springdom (Sebi Halo), and Mootasadir (Dansili) will also be available.

In recent years, the Gran Venta Selección has produced notable champions such as Labrado (Le Blues), the aforementioned SpringdomEl Musical (Il Campione), and Luthier Blues (Le Blues), the latter two currently standing as stallions at the farm. Other standout graduates include El Encinal (Il Campione), winner of the Gran Premio Carlos Pellegrini (G1) in 2023, and El Que Sabe (Il Campione), victor of the most recent Gran Premio Joaquín S. de Anchorena (G1).

The catalog features several highly anticipated lots, including Excitement (Il Campione), the third foal of the multiple Group 3 winner Sweetest Dream (Sebi Halo), and El Rincón Famoso (Il Campione), a sibling to Group 3 winner El Patio (Il Campione) and the stakes winners About Today (Angiolo) and Lider Blue (Le Blues).

Another exciting name is El Patio Andaluz (Il Campione), the maternal brother of G1 winner Dalbornell (Don Valiente)G3 winner Sausalero (Sebi Halo), and classic performer Sos Tan Sebi (Sebi Halo). The sale will also feature Le Romano (Le Blues), a maternal brother to Unzué (G1) double winner Arellano (Angiolo).

El Rompecorazones (Il Campione) shares his mother with G1 winner Senegalesca (Sebi Halo) and G3 winner Agiosto (Angiolo), while Amor Propio (Angiolo) is the maternal brother of G1 winner Lágrimas y Sonrisas (Le Blues)Clarísimo (Strategos) is the maternal brother of the champion sprinter Springdom.
