The yearling market is setting the pace for 2025 starting today with the opening of pre-bidding for Haras Gran Muñeca’s 2023 Yearlings Sale, organized by (Arg) Sales.

Making its debut as a sales event, the successful breeding operation will offer a lot of 51 products—all colts included—sired by the established Full Mast (Mizzen Mast), the promising Gidu (Frankel), and featuring much of the initial crop from of Made You Look (More Than Ready).

The auction will be conducted online, with the live sale wrapping up next Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Notably, buyers can take advantage of payment terms that allow for 10 monthly installments with deferred payment checks—conditions that are truly significant in today’s market.

The operation that bred Full Serrano (Full Mast), winner of the latest Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile (G1); champion Tan Gritona (Full Mast); and dual G1 winner Full Keid (Full Mast) presents an extremely attractive catalog.

Among the highlights is Free Kick, the number one lot, born in July. He comes from the initial crop of Made You Look and represents the first daughter of Full Serrana (Full Mast), a full sister to the famed Full Serrano—out of champion Seresta (Jump Start), who now shines as a broodmare in Japan.

Stade de France (Made You Look) is by the G3-placed Stormy Mecha (Bernstein) and is a maternal half-brother to five winners, including the classic G3-placed Forty Mecha (Roar).

Among the fillies, Gatica Flora (Made You Look) stands out; she is by the classic Gatita Rye (Catcher In the Rye), a maternal half-sister to champion Joy Canela (Fortify), and has already produced G2-placed winner Joy Gateada (Fortify) in Uruguay.

Other notable hips include Dulcinea Sam (Made You Look), by G2 winner Dulce Sam (Alrassaam)De Estocolmo (Gidu), whose dam is the G2-placed Day for Life (Hurricane Cat)Nankurunaisa (Made You Look), the first crop of the G3-placed Nashin Blue (Le Blues)Callada Eres (Made You Look), a maternal half-sister to classic Full Caluroso (Full Mast); and Donde Sea (Made You Look), the second crop of the classic Donde Estás (Don Valiente)—all expected to compete at the top price levels. Bids will be conducted in the official dollar.
