Half of Sunday's Card Reserved for Juveniles; Comando Secreto and Hiran Headline the Stakes Action

Excitement is building for Sunday’s program at Hipódromo de San Isidro, where half of the races will be for 2-year-olds and the highlight will be a pair of stakes over the turf: the Listed Macon (1800m) and the Juan Lapistoy (1000m).
The Macon, open to 3-year-olds and up under handicap conditions, will feature G1 winner Comando Secreto (War Command), who is looking to bounce back after a pair of below-par efforts that contrasted with the consistent form he showed through most of his career.
Representing Stud Sixes, the talented runner will shoulder a hefty 61 kilos and comes off a modest sixth-place finish in the Good Time Handicap at Palermo, won by Safety Honour (Safety Check), while carrying 63 kilos.
Among his rivals is Chanclette (Super Saver, 55), who was fifth in that same race and will also be looking to regain his best form after multiple stakes placings earlier in his career.
Touch the Stars (Fortify, 59.5) returns from a 255-day layoff, having last finished third behind He's a Rockstar(Endorsement) in the G3 Clásico General Pueyrredón. Earlier in his career, he was narrowly beaten by the late Full Keid (Full Mast) in the G1 Gran Premio 25 de Mayo.
Lightly weighted sophomores The Goat (Fortify, 53.5) and Yak Sport (Glory Settle, 54.5) could also be dangerous, taking advantage of the weight allowance and their solid recent form.
In the Juan Lapistoy, run under similar conditions as the Macon, Hiran (Santillano, 59.5) has a strong chance to establish himself among the leading turf sprinters, though he’ll have to contend with Camuflaje (Orpen, 60), who is back to his preferred surface after a dull comeback run on Palermo’s dirt.
Bailarín de Venecia (Angiolo, 55.5) is looking to make amends after a disappointing effort, while Sirirí Morocho(Seize, 54) could prove dangerous receiving significant weight from his main rivals.
