Wednesday's handle up north amounted to 311,800,648 pesos, with a card of modest technical quality

By month's end and within a card of very modest technical level—as is often the case on Wednesdays—San Isidro Racecourse still posted a solid handle of 311,800,648 pesos, averaging $25,983,387 per race.
On the conditions level, the most attractive contest on paper was the Premio Endozing, a one-mile dirt race within the alternative circuit for 3-year-old fillies with one career win.
It took quite the effort for Poliziana to justify her favoritism, but she ultimately prevailed by three-quarters of a length and a nose over Paxing (Señor Candy) and Diva Dune (Il Mercato), with Gonzalo Borda delivering a polished ride. A homebred for Vacación, the filly grabbed the lead at the 1,200-meter mark and dug in late to hold off her challengers, stopping the clock in 1:36.01 over a fast track.
Trained by José Luiz Correa Aranha, Poliziana is a daughter of Fortify and Paperlate (Equal Stripes), making her a full sister to champion Paulinho and G1 winner Positive Mind. She had already tested herself in multiple stakes races in 2024, finishing second in the Asociación Cooperativa de Criadores SPC Ltda. (L), fourth in the G1 Gran Premio Enrique Acebal, and fifth in the G3 Diego White.
Another noteworthy performance came in the Premio Mi Chispazo (1,400m, dirt), a contest for 5-year-old and older mares with two or three career wins. Heavy favorite Expert Advice responded in dominant fashion, securing her third victory in just five starts.
The Mamina Stable mare delivered a commanding front-running display, extending her lead as she hit the stretch and finishing with authority to defeat Telus Dame (Montelú) by 2 1/2 lengths in a sharp 1:22.49.
Juan Cruz Villagra dictated the pace aboard the Miguel Cafere trainee, who was bred by Triple Alliance S.A.. A daughter of Il Campione and La Mucura (Luhuk), she is a full sister to the talented Eagle Scout and Enrapture.
A final standout effort came from the 4-year-old Banglades, a Haras El Gusy homebred by Daddy Long Legs out of Pure Bengali (Pure Prize), who delivered a 7-length debut romp over 1,400 meters in the Il Albergo Prize, part of the alternative circuit. Joaquín Cano was aboard for Stud El Ranquel, the same connections behind Colifato Novo(Lenovo).
