The offspring of the promising young sire, who has been making a splash with his first crop on the track, commanded the top three prices of the day, led by Mumbero, who was purchased for US$77,000 by Don Valentino

It was widely expected that the first-crop yearlings by Gouverneur Morris (Constitution) would shine on Thursday at Haras La Pasión’s Select Sale, and in a rare turn for racing, expectations met reality.
Fueled by impressive performances on the track—including that of undefeated G2 winner Roshita—the gray stallion's progeny sparked intense interest from buyers, claiming the top three prices of the sale and securing 11 of the 12 highest-priced lots.
Conducted by Antonio Bullrich S.A., the sale’s top price was commanded by Mumbero, a striking chestnut colt purchased for US$77,000 by Stud Don Valentino after a spirited round of bidding. A son of the prolific Madison Song(Grand Slam), Mumbero is a half-brother to stakes winners Montecelso (Easing Along), Mojito Bay (Sidney's Candy), and Madero Tango (Easing Along), along with five other winners.
The second-highest price of the day was US$68,000 for Miamore, another chestnut by Gouverneur Morris, secured by trainer Juan Saldivia, acting on commission. Out of the outstanding mare Mozilla (Exchange Rate), a multiple G2 and G3 winner, Miamore is a half-brother to Mozo de Bar (Bodemeister), unbeaten in his first two starts and a runner in last year’s G1 Gran Premio Carlos Pellegrini, also for the Saldivia barn.
Completing the top trio was the dark bay Boldro, hammered down for US$60,000, again to Juan Saldivia on commission. He is out of Buenas Costumbres (Honour and Glory), a G2 winner who has already produced stakes-placed performers Berri Vell and Buen Escocés, both by Bodemeister.
The only yearling in the top echelon not by Gouverneur Morris was Sifnos, a son of Equal Stripes and G3-placed Sexy Back, who brought US$51,000 from Tomás Fernández Llanos, representing Stud Las Monjitas.
All 38 catalogued yearlings made it to the ring, generating a total turnover of US$999,000, with an average price of US$26,289 and a median of US$23,464—a strong result that reinforced Gouverneur Morris's growing reputation as one of Argentina’s most exciting young sires.
