The top sprinter in the United States and winner of the G2 Riyadh Dirt Sprint now sets his sights on the Dubai Golden Shaheen (G1), where he’ll square off against local star Tuz

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – (Special to Turf Diario) – A little after 7 a.m. on Wednesday, a bus pulled into Harrow Yard at Meydan. A tour group at that hour? Not quite.
One by one, members of the MyRacehorse micro-syndicate stepped off and made their way to the rail, phones, iPads, and other devices in hand, eager to watch U.S. sprint champion Straight No Chaser power through an energetic gallop just over three days before he lines up for the G1 Dubai Golden Shaheen - Sponsored by Nakheel (1200m, dirt).
The 6-year-old dark bay will be aiming to complete an unofficial sprint Triple Crown, having already captured the G1 Breeders’ Cup Sprint in November and the G2 Riyadh Dirt Sprint in February.
“Straight No Chaser is the one who brought us here, and as everyone knows, he’s just an incredible horse,” said an enthusiastic shareholder Will Díaz. “I’m absolutely loving it here. It’s a fantastic experience and I can’t wait for Saturday. He’s a freak—tough as nails.”
Roughly 30 minutes later, trainer Dan Blacker came by to greet the growing crowd, which had swelled to over 50 syndicate members, all beaming with the kind of smiles that said there was nowhere else they’d rather be.
“I couldn’t be more excited,” added Díaz. “I’ve been lucky—I was also part of the group behind Seize the Grey(Arrogate), last year’s G1 Preakness Stakes winner—but this experience is truly something special.”
“At the end of the day, this is exactly what I want to do: take horses to compete internationally, in places like Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
“It’s so rewarding to be able to do this for MyRacehorse, to give everyone involved this kind of opportunity and, hopefully, see Straight No Chaser deliver another huge performance this weekend.”
The MyRacehorse silks have become synonymous with success in micro-share syndication, with notable names like Straight No Chaser, Seize the Grey, G2 winner Lane Way (Into Mischief), and G3 winner Duke of Love (Cupid), among others, flying the banner.
Now, they’re all chasing one more thing together: a global, group photo in the winner’s circle at the Dubai Golden Shaheen.
