The Clásico Expressive Halo has been confirmed, with 2 last-minute entries

Palermo has left the stayers race with 4 confirmed, and the Farnesio will also be run, with both races taking place on the turf

Finally, there will be two stakes during the upcoming week of activity at the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo. After the reopening, two new entries were added for the Expressive Halo (L-2200 m, turf), and the authorities kept the race on the schedule with just 4 confirmed participants, taking a positive stance. For 4-year-olds and up, with weight applied as per regulations, it will be the main event of Sunday, while the Farnesio (1400 m, turf) for mares 3 years and older, also at weight-for-age, will be contested on Monday.

As a tribute to one of the best horses of recent times, the Expressive Halo will feature Epityrum (Portal del Alto), Speedy Endor (Endorsement), El Cid Campeador (Il Campione), and Hueihué (Daddy Long Legs) at the starting gates.

Meanwhile, the Farnesio will have Amiguita Gina (Todo Un Amiguito), Causeway Girl (Dabster), Early Life(Suggestive Boy), and Filippiada (Il Mercato) among the star participants, along with Guiltless (Full Mast) and Tac-Tac(Manipulator).

The week at the center will kick off on Friday, 21st, with the Spiny Handicap (1000 m) and Elías Antúnez Handicap(1800 m), both on the main dirt track for mares 4 years and up.

The latter is expected to be a match between the G2 winners Cyboogie (Galicado, 61) and Poker Mommy (Daddy Long Legs, 57 1/2), who will face off against Priola (South Kissing, 53), Elvi Grace (Southern Cat, 53 1/2), and Alma Vasca(Alma de Acero, 54).

Meanwhile, in the tribute to the incomparable sprinter from La Quebrada, the two-time classic champion Lagoa Azul(Lenovo) will carry 62 kilos, facing New Prize (Winning Prize, 53), Eleven Mile (Il Campione, 58), Betania B (Angiolo, 56), Chocotorta (Todo Un Amiguito, 58), Doña Chila (Peten Itza, 58), Flamenca Island (Lizard Island, 53), Beau Breeze (AP Candy, 53), Valga La Pena (Fortify, 54 1/2), Jugadoraza (Winning Prize, 54 1/2), Fantastic Bomb (Hit It a Bomb, 52 1/2), Egresada Girl (Greenspring, 53 1/2), and Shy Chimonin (Santillano, 54).
