The filly and the colt recently broke their maidens with ease and are now targeting the first steps of the selective process on turf

The first major challenges are coming for the 2-year-old colts and fillies on the turf at San Isidro. This will happen on Friday, when the colts face off in the Clásico Raúl y Raúl E. Chevalier (G2) and the fillies compete in the Clásico Eliseo Ramírez (G2), both over 1400 meters and with five participants in the gates, an unusually low number of entrants.
As part of a high-quality and extensive day (16 races will be run), the fillies will be the first to take to the track, with Tiz Joy standing out as the favorite following a truly brilliant debut, where she won by 6 lengths over Lessons of Life (Le Blues) in a 1200-meter local turf race.
Beyond the impression left by the Firmamento-bred filly, her victory gained more weight after Lessons of Life redeemed herself in her second race, winning by 9 lengths over Great Fight (Equal Stripes), though it was on heavy dirt.
The chestnut filly from Triple Alliance seeks revenge against Tiz Joy, teaming up with Charm (Strategos), who also shone on her debut, crossing the finish line 8 lengths ahead of Re Curiosa (Remote), also in altered local turf conditions.
Over 1000 meters of green, Gata Frank (Gidu) also opened her account with a nice victory but will now jump straight to the 1400 meters without any prior races. Meanwhile, the field is completed by Jeannete (Remote), who finished third against the colts in the Clásico Antártida Argentina (L).
As for the Chevalier, Firmamento hopes to sign an unforgettable afternoon with two colts who are ready for action. On one hand, there's Drive Joy (Fortify), and on the other, Real Rim (Remote).
The former lost on debut to Full Keynote (Full Mast) but quickly took revenge in a dominant performance, making him the favorite of Martín Valle, the official jockey of the stud. His companion, Real Rim, wasn’t as decisive when breaking his maiden, but it was clear he has potential.
For both, the main rival will be the aforementioned Full Keynote, who maintained his perfect record after beating Drive Joy in the Antártida Argentina, though with more effort than expected.
Tinta Roja will also be in the mix with Muchacho Calavera (Mask), who, in his third attempt, won by 5 lengths, and Liberto (Hurricane Cat), who, in his third appearance on heavy local dirt, finished 11 lengths behind in the final of the lower categories.
