Truly Princess dominates the Clásico Arturo A. Bullrich (G3) with a powerful stretch run

LA PLATA, Argentina – The speed division for fillies and mares at Hipódromo de La Plata has a clear leader, and her name is Truly Princess. Already a winner of the Clásicos Helda and Santiago Luro, the Stud Chúcaros representative raised the stakes once again, delivering another commanding performance to dominate the Clásico Arturo A. Bullrich (G3). Contested over 1200 meters on a fast dirt track, this race stands as one of the most significant events of the season for her division.
Competing under weight-for-age conditions, the Daddy Long Legs filly settled patiently behind the pace battle between Gurisa Mask (Mask), who set the tempo, and her closest pursuers, Bayonne (Puerto Escondido) and Emely (Il Campione).
Ridden to perfection by Cristian Velázquez, Truly Princess was allowed to relax early, settling in mid-pack and moving up methodically. By the turn, she was already in striking position, cruising into the homestretch with a perfect setup for her powerful late run.
After sharp early fractions of 23.38 and 46.35 for the opening 400 and 800 meters, Gurisa Mask managed to shake off her early challengers as the field straightened for home. But her moment of respite was short-lived. Unleashing a devastating turn of foot, Truly Princess surged past with authority, effortlessly opening up to score by four lengths.
The Haras El Chañar-bred filly, trained by Luis A. Sánchez, stopped the clock in 1:11.70, with Gurisa Mask bravely holding second. Emely, the race favorite, finished third, followed by Tac-Tac (Manipulator) and Byron Star (Equal Stripes). Bayonne, Creme de Cassis (Sidney's Candy), and Forever Rim (Remote) completed the order of finish, failing to make an impact despite carrying betting support.
At just three years old, Truly Princess has already won five of her nine career starts and has established herself as a dominant force at La Plata. Speed runs in her pedigree—she is out of a daughter of Miss Grace (Salt Lake), a graded stakes winner and dam of multiple stakes performers, including Alberto de Mónaco (Hurricane Cat) and Miss Kelly (Honour and Glory), the latter producing G3 winner Mr. Globalizado (Global Hunter).
With her latest triumph, Truly Princess has firmly cemented herself at the top of La Plata’s sprint division, and dethroning her will be no easy task.
